Once deployed, Continent IDS does not affect network topology and can be used to protect legacy and decommissioned applications and services.
The hierarchical management structure of IDS Continent makes it possible for the chief administrator to manage the security of both the parent company and subsidiary or dependent networks.
The Security Profiles mechanism generates a set of tracked signatures for each attack detector, thus reducing the risk of false positives and optimizing load on the device.
