Security Code is actively partnered with educational institutions that run professional training courses, re-training courses, and continuing education courses in the field of data protection. Our company works together to increase the quality of education at institutes and takes active part in the development of higher and specialized education systems in the Russian Federation, thanks to the non-commercial Program for the Popularization of Knowledge in the Field of Information Security. We have a vested interest in increasing the quantity of well-prepared graduates who have an education in our profile and are ready for constant professional development and work under conditions of innovative change. We are open to partnerships with educational institutions in Russia and abroad.

In working with institutions of higher learning, we are working on a number of crucial tasks, including:

closing the gap between the standards at institutions of higher learning and the demands of employers;
helping to prepare qualified staff and increasing the demand for specialists in the field of information security;
creating reserve staff for the company from among the most gifted students for their subsequent job placement;
supporting interest among students by running training events with the leading Russian developer of means for data protection.

Partnering with Security Code to use our products, licences, and teaching aids in your educational process

In this type of partnership we offer the following:

methodological teaching aids and virtual machine examples for the roll-out of educational stands on the following themes:
- “Server and work station protection” (Based on the use of Secret Net Studio and Sobol security products) – from 8 to 16 academic hours;
- “Security network perimeters" (Based on the use of the Continent Encryption Device/System for organizing network security) – from 8 to 16 academic hours (using the Continent versions 3.7, 3.9 and 4 product line);
- “Organization of remote access to web resources on a secure corporate network using TLS protocol" (Based on Continent TLS CIPF for the organization of remote access) – from 8 to 16 academic hours;
- “Securing means of virtualization" (Based on vGate for securing virtual infrastructure) – 8 to 12 academic hours;

Installation packages for Secret Net Studio, Secret Net LSP и vGate with a collection of student licences for 3 years free of charge for use in the class room;
Free technical support for 3 years for fielding questions and supply of new versions of the products mentioned above;
A series of webinars (recorded) for teachers’ use in class and for running exercises with students

In place of real Continent equipment, we also offer test stands on virtual machines using vmware in the study materials package with study materials. Continent virtual machine works in exactly the same way as the real equipment (with the exception that the virtual version doesn’t include Sobol), thus the virtual version can be used for training and practical evaluation of all aspects of Continent.

Our educational materials can be use as they are, or you may prepare your own developments using them as a basis (in this case, please indicate a link to Security Code).

If you wish to outfit a special classroom space or “Security Code” room, we are ready to consider outfitting your premises (by special request) with the corresponding educational materials, using our corporate symbols and identity.

Practicums and Internships for Students

We offer students the opportunity to work in our field, providing practicums both as programmers and as testing specialists. The practicum is unpaid; depending upon the results, however, the student may be asked to stay on for paid, part time work. While working at the practicum, the student will develop skills and receive valuable work experience at his or her chosen specialty, reinforcing the theoretical basis gained through education.
